In the community
Not only are Aqua Cars based
in Portsmouth, they are part
of Portsmouth.
Aqua Cars are proud
sponsors of 2 youth football
teams, as well as having a
basketball and bowling team
in local leagues. Local events
and charities have also been
supported including St Judes
school entry into Rock Challenge
2002.
Aqua Cars chose barnardo's
as their adopted charity during
2001/2002, and thanks to the
generosity of their drivers,
raised £7,500.00. A
feat that deserves recognition
for everyone concerned.
But the drivers really push
the boat out for kids kavalcade.
An annual event paid for and
organised by Aqua Cars. On
one day every year, the drivers
put on fancy dress, deck out
their cars with ribbons and
balloons, and take special
needs and local children to
Paultons Park for a super
day out. Starting from the
Guildhall, a flotilla of cars
make their way through Portsmouth
with horns blaring and all
the children waving excitedly
out of the windows. It's a
day to remember for everyone.
